Athira Raveendran is currently an Integrated Ph.D. student at the Chonnam National University.
Her Ph.D. research focuses on designing and developing fluorescent dye-based drugs and tumor-targeting delivery systems for anticancer therapy. Our approach is to target cancer cells exclusively with the conjugates of fluorescent dyes and cell-penetrating peptides, without harming healthy tissues. Also focusing on determining the cell signaling pathways and mechanism of cell death.
